About Farm & Vine Les Fauves
In early November we will gather for the 4th installment of Farm & Vine. This year’s theme creates a similar magic and yet speaks to the most wonderful of causes that brings us to the table this Fall, the Arts.
From the moment you hold a ticket to Farm & Vine, the adventure begins. Waiting and anticipation are customary, armed with only the knowledge of the date and the chef who will guide you through a dining experience unlike any other.
Les Fauves, translated means ‘Wild Beasts’ and our event theme and menu are influenced by those wild artists who ushered in one of the most influential movements in modern art.
From 1905 to 1910, inspired by the brilliance of the post-impressionism work by artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, a group of rebels went about breaking molds and creating works of art that shocked critics. Strong, bold, unrealistic colors and fierce brushwork partnered with simplified subjects and forms, the work was abstract and unlike the classically viewed artwork of the time. This caused the streets to cry “LES FAUVES” and a new style was born. A style that would herald the art of the 20th century.
Meticulous and eccentric, each detail will be curated specifically for you and for this night. Brian Campbell of Buffalo Catering will transform a naturally beautiful location into a stunning display of color and imagination, creating a one-of-a-kind and most spectacular dinner setting.
Chef Kris Jakob of B1895 Tavern will create a menu, revealed only upon arrival, full of wild creativity and unique flavors. Each bite will be a culmination of thoughtful choices curated to enhance your dining experience and surprise your palate.
Join us as we create magic and welcome you to the table to gather once again with friends and family, neighbors and strangers at the 2022 Farm & Vine outdoor dining experience.
